Center for Entrepreneurial Action

The Center for Entrepreneurial Action helps students build the skill set they need to start a successful business, including product development, fundraising, and commercialization strategies. The Center serves as an interdisciplinary hub where students, faculty, guest speakers and mentors from the business community come together to educate, collaborate, and help students bring their innovative ideas to life.

Institute for Global Business

The Institute for Global Business is the hub of Texas State University’s efforts to train a new generation of leaders who view national borders as bridges, not barriers, for businesses. The institute emphasizes practical business skills, experiential learning, and a broader understanding of the economic, cultural, political, and historical issues affecting international business. In doing so, the institute prepares McCoy graduates for careers in the corporate, financial, and political agencies that will shape the future of global commerce.
